Gibraltar, that little bit of the UK at the southern end of Spain, is full of history, interesting sights and duty free shopping. Having picked you up, our luxury air-conditioned coach will travel through the western part of the Costa del Sol to La Linea de la Coception. It is here that we cross the border into Gibraltar and continue on to the coach park just at the bottom of Main Street. Once in Gibraltar the choice is yours - take advantage of the duty free shopping, sightsee on your own or join in with the Rock Tour, trip on Dolphin Adventure, the Cable Car or the World War 2 Tunnels.
The Rock Tour
Our guide will introduce you to your, local, Rock Tour guide who will take you, buy mini bus for a tour of Gibraltar. On the way you will visit Europa Point, Saint Michael's Caves and The Apes Den. The local guides are always very friendly and knowledgeable and will give you a fascinating insight into the history of the "Rock" and the many interesting features that you will see along the way.
We have chosen Dolphin Adventure as being the best, and most informative, way of seeing the dolphins and other aquatic wildlife in Gibraltar Bay. Dolphin Adventure have a relatively new catamaran hull boat which is large enough for good facities but small enopugh to ensure that everyone gets a good look at the dolphins. The boat is also that bit faster allowing them more time to find the dolphins and other aquatic life in the Bay.
This runs from just outside the famous Botanical Gardens to the top of the rock. There is a stop on the way up, just by the Apes Den and, hboth here and at the top of the rock you are guaranteed to be able get up close to the famous monkeys! At the top there are superb views, a snack bar and gift shop. There is an excellent, free, multi-media tour available.
